Job Overview:

We are seeking a Chief Security Architect to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for evolving our platform's security posture, expanding into sensors/IoT and scalable architectures.

 

About the Role:

As a senior security engineer, you'll have opportunities to tackle cutting-edge challenges, foster inventive solutions, and engage in a supportive, collaborative environment where your ideas are valued.

 

You will identify and correct security misconfigurations in AWS accounts, participate in security assessments of networks, systems, and applications delivered internally and externally. Your responsibilities will also include managing and automating security controls and reporting, reviewing and recommending technical and non-technical improvements to system and network security controls, providing support to business stakeholders with security-related inquiries, performing log analysis to detect and respond to security events, and creating and updating documentation.

 

About You:

  • AWS-based infrastructure and services knowledge is essential, as well as experience working in Kubernetes environments. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and ways of implementing security controls is required. Software engineering experience (Golang, NodeJS or Python etc) and familiarity with security assurance, security analysis, vulnerability management, and system hardening programs are highly valued. The ability to lead projects end-to-end and work autonomously as part of a broader team is crucial. A passion for security and automation is necessary for this role.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • System administration and/or Network Engineering skills are beneficial, as is experience working with the CrowdStrike suite of tools. Experience securing corporate IT systems such as Okta, GSuite, Kandji & InTune, and expertise with configuration management tools like Terraform and Cloudformation are highly regarded.
