About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital CX and Design Director to join our team at Allens Operations Pty Ltd.

Job Description:

  • Lead a team of specialists in digital, design and data production, significantly contributing across the entire design and digital production process.
  • Oversee end-to-end design process, providing direction and guidance throughout the lifecycle – spanning UX, design, and development.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships, budgets, and effective communication with communications, digital, and events teams.
  • Develop skills roadmap for the team to remain marketing-leading and drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and commerciality throughout the design process.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with premium brands in in-house or agency capacity.
  • Prior experience within professional services firms, marketing agencies, or corporate organisations with complex stakeholder management.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills, with proven track record of coaching teams to develop new skills and transform processes.
  • Commercial acumen, with ability to quickly understand strategy and translate it into execution.
  • Extensive experience overseeing all aspects of design to development process, particularly at front-end stages, guiding prioritisation and supporting business cases for investment.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and best practice in Design and Digital CX, including skills, processes, and technology.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional client outcomes and manage multiple initiatives and priorities with excellent attention to detail.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
