Marketing Communications Specialist Opportunity

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills along with experience in social media platform management and a solid understanding of digital marketing best practices.

This role entails driving brand awareness, engagement, and strategic messaging across various platforms. The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and distributing engaging content, contributing to brand development, maintaining the marketing calendar, managing social media presence, coordinating marketing campaigns, and monitoring campaign performance using Google Analytics and social media insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and distribute compelling, brand-infused content for web, email, press, newsletter, and social media.
  • Ensure clear, aligned, and engaging messaging across all customer and stakeholder touchpoints.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and campaigns.
  • Grow and manage our social media presence through content creation, scheduling, community management, and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social channels, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and execution.
  • Develop visual assets and branded materials or collaborate with external creative teams as necessary.
  • Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights, providing regular reports and recommendations.
  • Support public relations and communications initiatives such as employee newsletters, announcements, and media outreach.
  • Assist with marketing events, trade shows, or conferences by promoting and preparing materials.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
