Job Overview:

A seasoned Construction Lawyer is required to join our Projects & Government Commercial team in Sydney. The successful candidate will assist on major infrastructure and government projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and construction contracts
  • Support procurement workshops and briefings, engaging with stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits for due diligence and project-phase support
  • Build strong relationships with Commonwealth and State government clients, and private sector partners

Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years' post-admission experience in procurement, government contracts, or infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Eligibility for NV1 security clearance (Australian Government Security Vetting Agency)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally for site visits as required
