Infrastructure Projects Lawyer - Sydney

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Projects Lawyer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As an expert in procurement and projects advice, you will be working on complex and strategic transactions for leading clients in the construction and infrastructure industry.

About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a front-end/projects lawyer to work with our highly regarded procurement team, led by Simon Walsh (Partner). You will have the chance to work across various project structures and contract forms, including PPP projects, D&C Contracts, Managing Contractor Contracts, Services Agreements, and Alliance Contracts.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality advice and support on major projects and infrastructure initiatives. Your expertise will help drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:
  • Providing specialist legal advice on procurement and projects matters to clients in the construction and infrastructure sector
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver project milestones and outcomes
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, legislative changes, and best practices to ensure ongoing expertise and excellence in your field
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4+ years' experience in procurement law within the construction or infrastructure sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of project delivery and procurement processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Experience working with Government clients and ASX-listed companies
