Drilling Leadership Role

The Belinga Project offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to lead drilling operations.

This position involves providing strong leadership to ensure minimum compliance standards are met while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs, associated equipment, and personnel.
  • Regularly audit all work areas, machinery, and work groups to address any gaps or non-compliances.
  • Advise on drilling-related safety and compliance matters.
  • Conduct pre-mobilisation inspections of drilling plant and equipment.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance drilling personnel's understanding of safety procedures and emergency protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in drilling safety, particularly on exploration RC and Diamond drilling programmes.
  • Strong understanding of drilling equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and influence positive change.
  • Health, Safety, and Training qualifications desirable.
