Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Disability Support Professional to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to clients with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and improve their physical and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client-Focused Support: Provide intensive, flexible, and responsive support to assist clients in successfully improving their physical and mental health.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and facilitate client activities and social outings, developing connections with the community and achieving their goals.
  • Daily Living Tasks: Assist clients with daily living tasks, domestic assistance, social support, transport, and community outings.
  • Collaborative Care: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements
  • Screening Check: NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW) or willingness to obtain.
  • Certifications: Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Licenses: Current full Australian driver's license and own car (not required but preferred).
  • Insurance: Comprehensive Car Insurance (if driving).
  • Language Skills: Fluent English language skills.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
  • Mental Health Experience: Experience working with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression, and Anxiety.
