
Perioperative Support Officer

This role is responsible for supporting the Theatre Front Desk Management team. The successful applicant will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager Peri-operative and Clinical Nurse to ensure a safe and successful outcome for the surgical patient and facilitate greater efficiency within the perioperative environment.
Experience in use of TMS and webPAS is essential for this position, as these systems play a critical role in managing theatre schedules and patient information.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clinical staff and other stakeholders. They will also have a high level of attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records and data entry.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff, patients, and other stakeholders is essential.
- Technical Skills: Experience in using TMS and webPAS is required, as well as basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to Detail: The successful applicant will need to maintain accurate records and data entry, and be able to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
