Senior Enterprise Data Model Developer

This is a key leadership role within a government data division, focused on enterprise data modelling, platform enhancement and the delivery of high-value insights.

You will play a pivotal part in shaping and advancing the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), while mentoring team members and driving sustainable data services.

  • Develop and continuously improve EDW platform capabilities
  • Design complex enterprise data models, transformations and integration pipelines
  • Support metadata management, data matching algorithms and data quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with BI analysts and develop secure APIs for reporting
  • Provide leadership and mentoring within the data team

Key Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 modelling (calculation views, CDS, procedures, table functions)
  • Proficiency in SQL with relational databases, query optimisation and data integrity
  • Experience with SDI, SDQ, SAP SAC and Microsoft Power BI
  • Deep understanding of conceptual, logical and dimensional data modelling
  • Experience with end-to-end data pipelines in on-premise or cloud environments
