Job Summary

You will lead and coordinate assurance reviews to provide insight, oversight and challenge of risk management in large-scale projects and transformation initiatives. This role will have a key focus on a multi-billion technology simplification program.

  • Lead the execution of Assurance reviews to ensure effective governance and quality of change execution risk within the Program (delivery and delivered risks)
  • Deliver assurance opinions on the effectiveness of risk management practices (including control effectiveness) in managing associated risks, ensuring alignment with the 2nd Line Assurance Standard
  • Partner and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure that delivery and delivered risks are effectively managed
  • Collaborate with 2nd Line Divisional CRO teams and Group Audit to identify thematic opportunities and focus areas in coordinated assurance planning activities
  • Produce and present reporting of key insights to divisional risk committees, program governance forums and program steering committees
  • Lead, develop and build a high-performing team which provides forward-looking insights on key risks to Senior Management and Executive Management Teams
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in overseeing technology risk, project governance, risk management, and compliance in large-scale complex transformation projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and experience with project software and tools.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience with producing and presenting insightful reporting to risk committees, governance forums and program steering committee
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proven leadership capability
