Radiology Clinical Director Position Overview

This leadership role offers the chance to shape the future of diagnostic imaging services across Tasmania. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic growth, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the statewide radiology team with a vision for innovation and quality improvement
  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
  • Mentor and guide staff, promoting sub-specialty development and ongoing education
  • Drive improvements in patient care and operational performance
  • Collaborate with the broader network for knowledge sharing and resource optimization
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • FRANZCR qualification with high proficiency in general radiology
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a radiology environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Subspecialty skills in Women's Imaging, MSK, MRI, or interventional radiology are highly regarded
