Senior Water Resources Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer to lead our remediation service line. This position requires a strong background in water resources and environmental engineering, solid project management skills, and experience working with federal clients.
The Ideal Candidate: Must have demonstrated experience and expertise in environmental remediation engineering and project management. Should have a minimum of 12 years of professional experience and a passion for environmental protection and restoration. The candidate should be knowledgeable in surface water, groundwater, and integrated modeling codes such as HEC-RAS, ICPR, MIKE-SHE, and/or SWMM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan remediation projects that meet clients' needs and comply with environmental regulations.
- Design and implement contamination assessments and monitoring plans to evaluate the environmental impact of projects and operations at client facilities.
- Investigate sites that have been contaminated with chemicals, toxic waste, nutrients or other dangerous materials.
- Recommend and design environmental remediation treatments to address the remediation criteria and needs.
- Work in the field as needed to gather information and direct field personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related water resources discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- ≥12 years of experience in environmental remediation.
- A Florida Professional Engineer license required.
- Knowledge of the regulatory processes in Florida.
- Excellent project management skills.
