Senior Branded Content Editor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Branded Content Editor to join our team.

  • This is a key role in developing innovative content for digital publishing platforms, social media, video and print channels.

The successful candidate will have a background in digital or print publishing, with the ability to write and commission editorial copy of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideate, research and write across a broad range of topics, including travel, business, food and wine and technology to produce high-quality digital copy, social media assets and print magazine content.
  • Working predominantly on Qantas magazine, Qantas Travel Insider and Qantas social channels, you will write or commission commercial content for a range of partners and advertisers.
  • Manage your task workflow and balance multiple concurrent projects.
  • Work closely with clients to agree on concepts, execute them within editorial guidelines and liaise on revisions. An exceptional eye for detail is essential.

Who are we looking for?

  • Five years' experience as an editor or content producer at a media publisher, agency or brand.
  • Commissioning and copy editing experience, as well as the ability to manage freelance writers within an editorial budget.
  • High-level organisational skills and demonstrated experience juggling multiple deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid editing skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of all social media platforms, best practice and specifications.
