Housekeeping Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the department, developing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service, and collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop, maintain and contribute to high cleaning and service standards in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that all facilities meet our luxury standards.
  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including responding to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain a well-stocked department.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all facilities meet our luxury standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping Team Lead or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve high standards.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of housekeeping management software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations.
  • Fitness: on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling.
  • Strength: sometimes lift, push or pull big objects like barrels & crates up to 23 kg.
