  • Crop Planning: Assist with crop planning to optimize yields and minimize waste.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct field trials to test new crop varieties, fertilizers, and techniques
- Monitor crop health and diagnose issues (pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies)
- Collect and analyze data on crop performance and yield
- Product Quality: Understand product defects and their effects on quality scores
- Harvest planning, coordinating, and supervising
- Develop and monitor post-harvest techniques to reduce spoilage and maintain freshness
- Conduct inspections for hygiene, contamination, pesticide residues, and microbial quality

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must be in your final year or recently completed a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in a relevant field such as agricultural science, horticulture, agribusiness, ecology, or science with an interest in agriculture. A valid driver's license and own reliable transportation are also required. You must be willing to travel and work in different sites from time to time. Full working rights in Australia are essential.
