Job Overview

We are seeking a Landscape Compliance Officer to ensure ecological, landscape, and horticultural compliance across development projects.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of assessing and ensuring compliance of works, providing expert advice on applications and planning conditions, conducting inspections and audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to support sustainable growth and community outcomes.

You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver timely assessment services that support our region's growth and sustainability goals.

About You
  • Hold formal qualifications in landscape architecture, ecology or a related field—or equivalent experience in environmental or construction industries.
  • Be confident navigating complex legislation, policies and planning schemes, and thrive in multidisciplinary teams where technical expertise drives sustainable outcomes.
  • Have strong communication and project management skills, building effective relationships, resolving issues, and contributing to a collaborative environment.

This position requires physical agility and a level of fitness, strength, and dexterity to carry out labouring tasks. Appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
