Role Overview

MinRes Marine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful implementation of marine projects.

The role involves providing technical advice, ensuring safety and efficiency in transhipment operations. This includes supporting the design, construction, and operations of newbuild Transhippers and Pusher Tugs in a dynamic environment focused on marine operations and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Marine Team through periodic attendance at shipyards during commissioning trials, contributing to project success.
  • Assist with onsite support at Onslow operations, ensuring smooth marine activities and effective logistics.
  • Collaborate with the GM Marine - Technical, providing assistance with engineering requirements and fostering technical project advancements.
Requirements
  • Class 1 Marine Engineer
  • Extensive experience in Marine Project or Port Operational roles with proven Senior Management experience
  • Strong understanding of shipyard commissioning processes and marine logistics
  • Marine or Engineering qualifications (desirable)
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a marine or technical context
  • Detail-oriented approach to support engineering requirements and project deliverables
  • Proficient computer literacy
