Overview

MinRes Marine is seeking a Marine Project Manager to provide technical advice and ensure safety and efficiency for transhipment operations. The role supports the design, construction and operations of newbuild Transhippers and Pusher Tugs in a dynamic environment focused on marine operations and technical excellence.

Location and Type

Location: Osborne Park
Work type: Permanent, Full time

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Marine Team through periodic attendance at shipyards during commissioning trials, contributing to project success.
  • Assist with onsite support at Onslow operations, ensuring smooth marine activities and effective logistics.
  • Collaborate with the GM Marine - Technical, providing assistance with engineering requirements and fostering technical project advancements.
What is Required
  • Class 1 Marine Engineer
  • Extensive experience in Marine Project or Port Operational roles with proven Senior Management experience
  • Strong understanding of shipyard commissioning processes and marine logistics
  • Marine or Engineering qualifications (desirable)
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a marine or technical context
  • Detail-oriented approach to support engineering requirements and project deliverables
  • Proficient computer literacy
