Role Overview

This leadership position involves providing strategic direction for research and evaluation initiatives in Early Childhood Education, driving research culture and capabilities, identifying partnership opportunities, and advising teams on best practice research methodologies.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for research and evaluation, aligning with the department's goals and objectives.
  2. Lead research initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build research partnerships and drive impact.
  3. Advise teams on research design, methodology, and analysis, ensuring high-quality outputs that inform educational policy and practice.
  4. Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making, fostering a community of researchers who contribute to the advancement of Early Childhood Education.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's policies and procedures, ensuring quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
