We are seeking a highly skilled Evaluations Lead to join our team at the University of New South Wales. As an essential member of our evaluation team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting mixed-methods evaluation for Student Equity.

The successful candidate will lead the design of mixed-methods program evaluation in line with the theory of change, author high-quality evaluation reports, and communicate key recommendations to enhance program effectiveness. You will work closely with the Evaluation and Reporting Manager and Program Lead – Student Equity to evaluate program impact and promote continuous improvement.

This role requires experience in qualitative data collection and analysis, as well as collaboration with team members to drive strategic initiatives with research outputs. A relevant tertiary qualification in evaluation or applied social sciences is essential, along with demonstrated experience in developing theories of change and designing and implementing evaluation of learning initiatives.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package of $115,000 - $125,000 per annum, plus 17% superannuation contributions and leave-loading payments. Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in evaluation or applied social sciences
  • Demonstrated experience in qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience writing clear and compelling reports
  • Ability to work effectively and collegially both within a team and with minimal supervision
