Risk Management Specialist

About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Market Risk Analyst to join our team at MUFG Bank, Ltd., Australia. As a key member of our Market Risk Team, you'll play a crucial role in the implementation and management of our Risk Framework & Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Market Risk Team with risk identification, analysis, and reporting.
- Work in partnership with various departments to provide policy interpretation on regional and local market risk policies and frameworks.
- Monitor and prepare regular reports on Oceania's market risk performance against MUFG policies and guidelines.
- Maintain and update credit limits of front and back office systems.
- Produce risk exposure and profit and loss reports for Treasury, Head Office, and regulatory purposes.
Requirements:
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills working in an analytical role, looking to start a career in banking, particularly within risk. Previous banking experience is desirable but not required, however Excel skills are critical to the role.
You'll have good communication and presentation skills and a client-centric approach. You will be highly organised, with an ability to multitask and work autonomously and proactively. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills are essential.
