Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Lead the development of our technology roadmap and ensure that it is aligned with our business goals
  • Oversee the implementation of new and emerging technologies to drive business value and improve efficiency
  • Formulate and implement a technology and automation strategy that includes budgets and ongoing cost management
  • Establish a framework for achieving enterprise goals and objectives, taking into account benefits realization, risk optimization, and resource optimization
  • Develop and maintain global practices, processes, tools, and technology to create efficiencies and ensure consistent delivery of service offerings
  • Serve as a technology stakeholder and chairperson on framework committees
  • Provide communication and education to ensure a shared understanding of our business strategy and drivers, decision-making processes, and architectural and technology review and escalation processes
  • Develop a multi-year technology roadmap to mid/long-term business plans
  • Demonstrate business value through the use of technology
  • Contribute to the development of our company's strategic vision and goals
  • Assist with financial management, team management, talent management, and technology management
  • Support IT security and ensure that an IT risk management framework exists to identify, analyze, mitigate, manage, monitor, and communicate IT-related business risk
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in technology and business travel is mandatory, specifically within the travel management industry
  • Proven multi-national knowledge of business travel management, supplier landscape, and travel technologies
  • Experience in prioritizing and handling multiple demands, initiatives, problems, and opportunities
  • Prior leadership experience in managing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, with teams meeting and exceeding goals
  • Excellent communication skills, oral, written, and presentation
