This role presents an opportunity to provide medium-term mental health care for young adults under the Better Access MBS pathway as a self-employed Allied Health Practitioner.
About the Role
You will be working with headspace Upper Coomera, a bulk billing practice, offering timely access to mental health care for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mental health sessions to young adults aged 12-25.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, and current AHPRA or AASW membership.
- Medicare provider number and ability to bill under the MBS.
- Passion for working with young adults (12-25).
- Knowledge and skills in treating mild to moderate mental health presentations, including stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, and family discord.
