About the Role

The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) at RAAF Base Richmond is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the Resource Manager in workforce management, culture, and administrative compliance and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment actions from commencement to on-boarding
  • Provide travel support and guidance
  • Assist with data generation and reports
  • Manage procurement activities
  • Ensure records management and general administration
  • Deliver policy and process guidance to the unit

About Our Team

The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) is a business unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems (ATS) branch of the Aerospace Systems Division (ASD), within Defence's Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). ALSPO is responsible for sustaining and enhancing the RAAF's C-130J Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft, working in partnership with industry to support Air Mobility Group achieve its mission.

Our team is highly capable, professional, and friendly, operating in a dynamic and challenging work environment. Building and maintaining cooperative and collaborative relationships are fundamental to our success.
