Junior Oncology Specialist

As a member of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career within a highly innovative and patient-focused environment. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering cancer care and treatment services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with consultants and other members of the treatment team to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient examination history.
  • Participate in simulation processes and expand knowledge of treatment positions and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with the planning team to gain experience in critically evaluating treatment plans.
  • Manage radiation oncology inpatients in consultation with clinical supervisors and liaise with multidisciplinary team members for issues relating to day-to-day patient care.
  • Assess and treat the side effects of radiation treatment on patients.
  • Communicate effectively with relatives, nursing, allied health, and radiation therapy team members.

  • Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate effective and appropriate interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to continually develop both personally and professionally.
