
Senior Inventory Specialist

This is a residential role, and you must live within a 40-minute commute to the Australind Pigment Plant.
About the JobThe successful candidate will perform inventory management tasks in accordance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions. This includes safely and efficiently performing stores activities, carrying out stock takes, and managing warehouse responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliation of inventory records.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse.
- Carry out cyclic maintenance on equipment and ensure that all inventory procedures are followed.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
You will also be responsible for:
- Loading and despatch of goods; Preparing Shutdown staging for parts and components;
- Maintaining relevant transactional activities and reports using SAP.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2-5 years previous experience in a similar position (desired)
- Current C Class Drivers' Licence (essential)
- High Risk Licence for forklift operation (essential)
- Good problem-solving and research skills.
- Provides high-level customer service (essential).
- Highly motivated and promotes a safe and inclusive work environment (essential).
- Experience with SAP S4 – IM warehousing module an advantage.
