Breakfast Chef Job Summary

This is an opportunity to join a small kitchen team as a Breakfast Chef. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a diverse range of breakfast dishes, from traditional full hot breakfasts to healthier continental choices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet, showcasing variety and flair
  • Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage by following stock control procedures
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy
  • Wash all dishes during service
  • Assist with in-house functions, restaurant and cafe food as required
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned
  • Report any problems to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have experience in buffet breakfast service and deliver consistent, high-quality food while maintaining set food costs.

  • Experience in buffet breakfast service preferred

  • Work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests
  • Have great communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Have excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Have willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests
