Volunteer Role

Make a positive impact and have fun by contributing to your community, putting your life skills into action or gaining new ones. Our volunteer role offers a variety of tasks like welcoming customers, processing transactions, sorting donations, creating displays and keeping the shop clean.

Responsibilities

As a volunteer you will be doing a variety of tasks such as:

  • Welcoming and engaging with customers
  • Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and eftpos payments
  • Sorting and pricing donations
  • Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers
  • Keeping the shop clean and tidy
  • Following all shop processes


Qualifications
  • A friendly and positive attitude is essential
  • Sociable and engaging with others
  • Happy to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks
  • Commitment to your nominated shift


Application Process
  • No need to upload a resume - just tell us why you're interested in the role
  • We'll then have a friendly interview in store and ask you a few questions and you can ask us questions too
  • Must be at least 15 years of age (QLD - must be 16)
  • Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross)
  • Will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program
