Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the School of Education, aligning with the university's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of academics and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality education programs.
  • Foster partnerships with industry, government, and community organizations to enhance research and professional education opportunities.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of funds and personnel.
  • Promote and develop the School's research profile, securing funding and collaborations to advance our reputation.
Requirements
  • Doctoral qualification in a relevant education discipline, with a strong record of research and/or scholarship.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of strategic planning, operational management, and budget management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and exploit new opportunities in education, research, and professional education.
