About the Role

AIPC Higher Education Group is seeking an experienced senior academic to fill the position of Dean - Higher Education. As a key member of our academic leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of higher education at our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support academic teams in delivering high-quality higher education courses
  • Undertake academic and course reviews, making recommendations and improvements as needed
  • Develop and implement plans for academic and course improvements
  • Inspire and support excellent academic standards and service
  • Uphold a positive leadership approach that encourages academic quality and student satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on academic outcomes, teaching and learning plans, and student metrics
  • Manage and participate in academic governance processes and committees
  • Develop academic leadership capability
  • Enhance student engagement and retention, particularly of mature-age online students
Requirements
  • A recognised PhD or Doctorate
  • Evidence of a successful track record in leading higher education courses, subjects, and services
  • Evidence of current and high-quality teaching skills in higher education contexts
  • Excellent liaison, negotiation, and collaborative capability
  • Scholarly activity representative of the academic level
