Risk & Compliance Overview
Our Group Risk & Compliance team plays a critical role in ensuring safe, responsible and values-driven operations. We're seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to provide expert advice and support to Finance & Strategy and People & Culture functions.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys senior stakeholder engagement and is motivated to influence risk and compliance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to increase awareness and embed risk and compliance frameworks, linking strategy with risk appetite, assessments, controls and incident management.
- Provide oversight and challenge on key business activities, ensuring compliance obligations and risks are well managed.
- Manage control testing programs, focusing on treasury and finance-related controls and people systems' risks.
- Support scenario and stress testing framework development and monitoring, including governance, policies and facilitation.
- Provide trusted risk and compliance advice to senior leaders, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement in risk and compliance management, updating policies, training and guidance to meet regulator expectations and business needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors and support regulatory engagement, submissions and compliance activities.
- Monitor legislative changes impacting financial and people risk, integrating them into planning and policy.
- Contribute to training, reporting and governance forums, promoting values-driven culture, capability uplift and informed decision making.
About You
We're looking for someone with relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 7 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, treasury or financial governance. You should have strong expertise in risk and compliance frameworks within financial services or corporate environments.

- Strong understanding of treasury, finance and people-related risks and controls.
- Experience in policy development, compliance training and uplifting risk culture.
