Key Responsibilities- Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities
- Assist in the design, delivery, and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activities
- Implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and the wider community
- Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting
- Provide direct resident care in relation to meals service, mobility, and social support
- Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents, following all policies and procedures
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar
- Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
- A reliable team player
- Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
