As a Dental Care Associate, you will work part-time on Mondays and Wednesdays, providing direct patient care.
Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
About the RoleThis role involves working in a dynamic dental surgery environment, providing chair-side assistance to a Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist.
- Providing administrative support, including entering/updating patient records and other duties as required.
- Assisting in the promotion of oral health to patients.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.
- Maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery environment.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years' (full time equivalent) chair-side experience within the last 5 years.
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
- Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
Please note:
- You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
- You don't need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on-base.
