Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team. As an Intermediate to Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our organisation.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs). You will also prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Pay As You Go (PAYG) for various clients.

  • Collaborate with partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Take lead in the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for a variety of clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar field
  • Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
