Job Opportunity: Personal Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to residents.

  • Assistance with residence mobility needs, including manual handling.
  • Assistance at mealtimes as required by the resident, such as food and drink preparation and feeding if required.
  • Encouraging engagement in various social activities.
  • Assistance with personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting and personal care such as dressing, grooming and oral care.

To be successful in this role, you require:

  • Experience in aged care, highly regarded.
  • Understanding of person-centred care.
  • Strong, clear verbal and written English skills.
  • A collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Willingness to take direction and follow instructions/compliance.
  • A confident, friendly and professional approach to team and residents.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III Individual Support or similar with relevant aged care units completed. You will also require valid working rights in Australia, be willing to complete a police check and obtain current vaccinations.
