Job Title: Supply Manager

Reporting to: Operations Director ANZ

Department: Operations

Job Context

LivaNova Australia and New Zealand represents an organization of around 70 employees. It includes a commercial team of field employees encompassing Sales, Marketing, Medical Science Liaison and Service Engineer profiles; employees in office support functions and an Operations team consisting of production, warehouse, engineering and design personnel.

Job summary

The Supply Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the operations and multiple business teams to provide ongoing development and optimisation of our planning, supply and purchasing.

Duties and responsibilities

This role will incorporate - but not be limited to - the following:

- Oversee end to end supply chain from raw materials to final delivery of finished goods
- Execute demand and supply planning
- Review and complete budgeting and update estimates for purchasing and inventory
- Ensure materials, spare parts and products are received to requirements
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained to achieve supply and financial requirements
- Purchasing of raw materials, finished goods for resale, spare parts and capital items
- Set up supply contracts and negotiate best outcomes for our business
- Short
- Medium
- and Long-Term capacity planning
- Auditing of suppliers
- Set Production Schedules that can be delivered, meet customer supply requirements, and maximise plant efficiencies
- Release production batch paperwork and ensure drawing revision management in conjunction with Product Development
- Maintain planning and purchasing parameters in ERP
- Communicate with suppliers and sales team on supply and resolve supply issues
- Ensure all quality and regulatory documentation is in place and adherence
- Tracking of purchase orders and work orders to ensure perfect Delivered in Full On Time performance
- Work with finance to ensure necessary controls are in place for expenditure and inventory management
- Identify, Develop and Lead cost-savings and Supply Chain Process Improvements
- Work with sales, service and finance to achieve full Stock Lifecycle Management
- Drive Supplier partnerships and collaboration to maximise availability and minimise cost
- Ensure Company Policies and Procedures are maintained and enforced
- Ensure all supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Develop and implement supply chain safety guidelines
- Reporting of KPI's and setting action plans to ensure achievement of KPI's

Minimum requirements and qualifications

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields
- Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics or similar
- CPIM certification (preferred)

Experience
- Minimum 7 years' Supply Chain experience within a medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience
- Exposure to ERP preferably Exact
- Experience with Hazardous Substances, Dangerous Goods and Victorian OH&S regulations
