PhD Researcher in Health Economics

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD researcher to join our team at the Centre for Health Economics, Monash University. As a PhD student, you will be part of a vibrant research community that is at the forefront of health economics research.
Research ThemesOur research themes include:
- Disadvantage and Health: Investigating the economic and social determinants of health outcomes and health inequalities.
- Global and Environmental Health Economics: Analyzing the economic impacts of global health issues and environmental health risks.
- Economic Behaviour, Incentives and Preferences in Health: Examining the economic factors that influence health-related decision-making.
- Economic Modelling of Health Policies and Technologies: Developing economic models to evaluate the effectiveness of health policies and technologies.
As a PhD researcher, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting original research in health economics under the supervision of our experienced researchers.
- Developing and implementing research projects, including data collection and analysis.
- Presenting research findings at national and international conferences.
- Collaborating with our research team to publish research papers in top-tier journals.
To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have:
- A 4-year bachelor's degree or 2-year master's degree in economics, econometrics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated research experience and strong academic results.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
