Greyhound Care Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and flexible individual to work in our greyhound care operation. Our 7-day operation requires someone who can adapt to a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Caring for greyhounds, ensuring their health and well-being are met.
  • Exercising greyhounds to maintain their physical fitness.
  • Transporting greyhounds in our vans to and from events.
  • Attending race meetings and handling greyhounds with care.

No prior experience is necessary; we provide training to ensure you have the skills required. A valid driver's license is essential. You should be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and able to handle raw meat when feeding the greyhounds.

It is preferable that you reside locally, however this is not a requirement.

We will support you in obtaining a license to handle greyhounds at race meetings. A police check is required for this purpose.

Skill Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks involving greyhound care
  • Good communication skills
