Role Overview


We are seeking a passionate and flexible individual to join our team as a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Officer at Bupa Woodville.



Key Responsibilities

As a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Officer, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging environment for our residents. This will involve:




  • Developing and implementing activities that promote social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.




  • Building strong relationships with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.




  • Collaborating with the care team to identify and address the needs of residents, including those with dementia or other complex care requirements.




  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the care home, including meal service, cleaning, and maintenance.




  • Ensuring the care home is a safe and welcoming environment for all residents and staff.





Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support, or willingness to complete.




  • Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting.




  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.




  • Australian driver's licence.




  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.




  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on resident-centered care.
