About Our OSHC Childcare Program

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Co-ordinator Educator to join our supportive team at an after-school hours care (OSHC) childcare environment. As a Child Care Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to nurture and lead a rewarding program for school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for children and families through effective teamwork and communication.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate daily/weekly care routines and programs tailored to individual children's needs and preferences.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and their caregivers based on trust, respect, and empathy.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Deliver engaging and fun daily OSHC programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Care for children with additional needs, including behavioral, trauma, or physical support requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • Current First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training certification or willingness to obtain before commencement.
  • Working with Children Check (employee status 'E') and Child Safe Certificate or willingness to obtain before commencement.
