Job Title:

Credit Team Lead

Job Description:

As a key member of our retail business, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial health and growth of our organisation. You will lead the Credit Team, overseeing credit collection strategies across residential and small business portfolios, ensuring effective debt recovery and strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Credit Team to optimise allocation of work and performance outcomes.
  • Oversee credit policies, frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance and efficiency.
  • Partner with sales, finance, legal and operations teams to align credit strategies to business goals.
  • Deliver accurate reporting and insights on credit exposure, risk trends and performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading credit functions (credit risk, collections, vulnerable customer management).
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and reports.
  • Experience managing vendors/third parties and driving credit transformation activities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
