Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal customer service and supporting our operations.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Promoting a Strong Safety Culture: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) programs and promptly report any hazards or incidents.
  • Procurement and Financial Processes: Raise purchase requests/purchase orders in Maximo, manage invoicing, and support accounts payable.
  • Preventative Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance and major repairs to maintain smooth operations.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports while driving improvements in reporting efficiency.
  • Capturing and Validating Data: Maintain and update the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for accurate maintenance records and reliable asset tracking.
  • Utility Usage Monitoring: Monitor and validate utility usage to support cost control and sustainability goals.
  • Inventory Control and Stocktakes: Assist with inventory control and stocktakes by managing data entry and collaborating with Stores personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: In planning/scheduling coordination, preferably in heavy equipment, engineering, or industrial environments.
  • Trade-Related Background: Preferred, with hands-on understanding of workshop and maintenance operations.
  • Systems Proficiency: Proficient in using systems such as Maximo, Oracle, and Microster.
  • Advanced Computer Literacy: Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and produce accurate, insightful reports.
  • Administrative Processes: Thorough knowledge of administrative processes, including purchasing, receiving, and invoice management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
  • Teamwork and Quality Focus: Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering organisational results.
