Software Architect – Back End

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced software architect to join our team and contribute to the development of robust backend systems. You will design, develop and maintain platforms and data pipelines across fintech domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Think and own the full life cycle of products, from business requirements and technology selection to coding standards, agile development, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
  • Design scalable data pipelines and storage solutions to support complex data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Boost system performance by building stable, high-performing solutions.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to wider engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience with strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Scala, or C#; proven track record of developing high-performance applications in production.
  • Insightful experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Spark) and advanced knowledge of SQL and data architecture.
  • Systems thinking: awareness of edge cases, failure modes, and lifecycle considerations.
  • Data-driven decision making using metrics; passion for software craftsmanship and continuous learning.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience with operational excellence, metrics, alarms, and dashboards.
