**Key Role:** We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with a strong background in building and maintaining backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing clean, efficient code and working collaboratively with data scientists and ML engineers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain Tier-1 backend services and APIs for deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize models and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient code for backend systems and agentic systems, building metrics and dashboards, and deep technical investigations.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor and debug issues across systems - platform components, API, model-serving infrastructure.
  • System Improvement: Continuously improve system reliability, observability, and maintainability through thoughtful engineering and automation.
  • Architecture Discussions: Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing ideas to simplify, scale, and improve our systems.
  • Technical Exploration: Explore how things work behind the scenes, proactively identifying and addressing inefficiencies or technical debt.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Machine Learning Experience: Strong experience with deploying machine learning models into production environments.
  • Evaluation Expertise: Strong experience with Evals with measurement driven approach to shipping AI capabilities.
  • Software Engineering Skills: Strong software engineering skills focused on maintainable systems and solid design.
  • System Operations: Strong experience of operating Tier-1 systems at scale reliably.
  • Data Workflow Understanding: Solid understanding of data workflows, including building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations.
  • Curiosity and Growth Mindset: A naturally curious mindset — you enjoy digging into unfamiliar systems and figuring out how things work. Growth-oriented and self-driven — you like learning new tools, technologies, and patterns.
