This role is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional to join a collaborative, supportive team environment.
About the PositionYou will deliver accurate, timely, and efficient payroll services for a large workforce. This is a hands-on position in a shared services environment, processing end-to-end payroll for staff covered by multiple EBAs and awards.
Key Responsibilities- Process end-to-end payroll for a large, multi-site workforce.
- Process timesheets and leave requests in accordance with EBAs, awards, and payroll procedures.
- Review and verify payroll data, resolve exceptions, and ensure database integrity.
- Manage new starters, terminations, variations, and retrospective adjustments.
- Administer superannuation, taxation, and other statutory obligations.
- Handle escalated payroll queries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting.
- Mentor and support less experienced payroll staff.
- Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.
- You have proven end-to-end payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation.
- You have a strong understanding of EBAs, awards, and payroll compliance requirements.
- You possess excellent attention to detail, numeracy skills, and accuracy under pressure.
- You have clear written and verbal communication skills.
- You have experience in shared services or large team environments desirable.
- You have SAP and Time & Attendance system experience advantageous.
