Lead Expert in Insolvency and Restructuring

We are a leading turnaround practice with a market-leading track record of delivering outstanding results for clients across various industries and businesses in Australia and Internationally.

The role of Lead Expert involves managing day-to-day issues on formal insolvency engagements, including trade-on management, receipts and payments. You will also assist in non-formal engagements, such as independent business reviews and informal turnaround assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate formal insolvency engagements to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with experienced teams to develop and implement effective strategies for insolvent entities.
  • Provide expert advice on turnaround and restructuring options for clients facing financial difficulties.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and other documentation to support engagement activities.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of professional experience in insolvency/restructuring, preferably in a leadership or senior management capacity.
  • Relevant qualifications in an accounting or finance related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, fostering a collaborative culture and promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and participate in after-hours events as required.
