
Disability Support Team Leader

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred disability support across a portfolio of home (SIL) services in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, develop and support a high-performing team of Site Supervisors and Support Workers, ensuring effective service delivery and staff engagement.
- Drive person-centred, strengths-based service delivery aligned with client NDIS plans, promoting positive outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Manage day-to-day operations including staffing, incident management, rostering, and financial oversight, maintaining efficient processes and resources.
- Collaborate with families, health practitioners, support coordinators and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and safe support, building strong relationships and trust.
- Champion continuous improvement and implement strategies that promote service innovation and efficiency, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Handle complex client needs and escalate risks where appropriate, prioritizing customer safety and well-being.
- Build community connections and identify opportunities to grow and tailor services in line with local needs, fostering community engagement and participation.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in disability support and leadership.
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing disability, community, or residential services, showcasing a proven track record of success and leadership.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS, relevant quality and safeguarding standards, and sector legislation, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry regulations.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop diverse teams in dynamic service environments, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and crisis response capability, effectively managing communication and resolving conflicts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver operational results, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
