Job Description

We are seeking a Production Supervisor - Packaging to oversee the daily work of production staff and ensure that all finished products meet quality specifications.

This is a day shift position with a focus on maintaining site safety, quality, and production performance. The successful candidate will provide support to the Site Manager and operational staff in ensuring a positive safety culture with a focus on hazard awareness and incident reporting.

About You
  • You have a strong commitment to safety, environmental, and quality assurance policies and company values.
  • You hold a current Loader Licence (LL) and possess knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximising effective manufacture.
  • You are able to work unsupervised or in a team environment and have strong time management skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will also possess organisational skills and be able to follow process and procedures effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate leadership through safe and compliant behaviours.
  • Ensure a monthly production plan is produced in line with forward sales expectations from the business and in conjunction with the Site Manager.
  • Lead a team to create a high-quality product that consistently meets product specifications.
  • Oversee and direct the daily work of the production staff.
