Job Overview

As the team leader of a packaging team, you will provide guidance and leadership to ensure delivery on our vision to bring enjoyment and connection to everyday moments in life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input into and promote health and safety standards, ensuring all team members comply with relevant regulations.
  • Manage process and product quality in packaging.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP and GFSI standards.
  • Support the implementation of quality activities across various business areas.
  • Facilitate a healthy industrial relations climate and support high-performance teams through guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate maintenance of plant and equipment to maximize availability and KPI achievement.
  • Coordinate/support maintenance teams in planned and breakdown activities.
  • Coordinate and support new product development, overhauls, and project management programs.
About You

As a self-starter who can drive improvements, your solid communication skills will aid you in resolving conflicts, leading teams, and building relationships.

Ideal Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or other relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a packaging or operational manufacturing role.
  • Strong safety and quality mindset with experience in HSE leadership and understanding of quality principles.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP/HACCP and GFSI compliance standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence others in a fast-paced environment.
