Care Coordinator for Lung Cancer Patients

The Calvary Mater Newcastle is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team. This is a fixed-term, part-time position that offers the opportunity to work with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals within the Lung Cancer specialty.
About the Role:
- Provides expert clinical advice to patients and healthcare professionals
- Develops, facilitates, and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care through effective communication and education
- Conduct research and implement best practices in the field of oncology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing or related field
- Postgraduate qualification in Oncology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Registration as a Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in oncology nursing
